A Little About Me
Airin Bohun
My path into tech started through people, not systems. I began as a certified Scrum Master at IsraelIT and T+Technology, supporting a development team, setting structure, and making sure we could actually deliver on what we started. Over time, my responsibilities grew. I started working more with stakeholders and developers as a Project Manager, not just keeping things moving applying Agile principles, but shaping the direction of the projects themselves.
The more I worked, the more I cared about what we were creating and who it was for. I wanted to understand the people on the other side of the screen — what they needed, what wasn't working, and how we could make it better. That's when service design entered my life. I started learning, testing, and eventually enrolled in an MBA in Service Innovation and Design at Laurea University to go deeper.
During my MBA, I worked on real-world projects — designing service blueprints for Portugal's national postal service at ISCTE Lisbon, prototyping future-thinking solutions with ESADE and CERN through the i2Planet programme, and redesigning visitor experiences at Köln International School of Design.
Today, I still do a mix of things like managing, designing, translating between ideas and execution. The titles have changed over the years, but the goal remains the same: to make good things with good people and to stay curious and adaptable along the way.
